A 50% non-refundable deposit is required when booking, the outstanding 50% is required to be paid 7 days prior to the booking date. Deposits are non-refundable; however, we understand not everything is within your control and things can happen. Should circumstances change we are happy to reschedule bookings where possible or credit money under certain circumstances.
All payments are to be made directly into the Hello Sailor account details listed below. Once payment has been made, we kindly ask that proof of remittance be emailed through to [email protected] for our reference.
We ask that all bookings wishing to cancel provide us with a minimum 48hrs notice, 48hrs notice is also required for decrease in booking numbers. This allows us time to ensure we can accommodate your booking accordingly.
We are always happy to help you organise your special event and assist in any way possible.
Decorations – We welcome our guests to bring in decorations they would like used for their special event. All decorations must be weighted down to ensure nothing is blown in our beautiful marina. We DO NOT allow glitter or sparkles to be used within our venue, a cleaning fee will apply should this not be respected. Any larger decorations brought into the venue (eg. Photo wall, balloon arch, signage etc.) are to be removed from the venue once your booking has concluded. We are happy to assist with removal/disposal of decorations for a fee of $250.
Cakes – We do not charge a fee for you to bring a cake in for your booking. We are happy to store your cake within our fridge and have delivered to the table as and when we are able. We supply plates, napkins and knife to cut the cake, everything else is down to you.
Large venue bookings for 18th and 21st Birthday Celebrations will incur a $250 charge used to hire a security guard for the entirety of your function.
Minors will not be permitted to attend after 6pm for any 18th or 21st Birthday Celebration. All minors must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult over the age of 25 years and must not consume alcohol under any circumstances, anyone providing a minor with alcohol will be reported to the local licencing sergeant and removed from the venue.
All minors will be required to wear an “under 18” wristband provided on arrival, which must always remain on whilst within our venue.
Please note that if you are planning on booking outdoors, alternative undercover seating during inclement weather cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our very best to ensure your comfort.
All guests wishing to enter the Hello Sailor venue agree to the following Terms and Conditions of entry-
- Present proof of age when requested.- Be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 18- Treat other guests and crew with respect and comply with any reasonable directions givenby the HS team.- Treat the Hello Sailor venue and surrounding business with respect
- Not Smoke or Vape unless in designated areas
- Not partake in the use of illicit drugs
- Be refused admission if showing signs of intoxication.
- Be refused service if show signs of excessive intoxication.
- Leave the venue when advised to.
- Show no aggression towards Hello Sailor Staff or Guests
Non-compliance will result in the Management removing you from the venue.
Should any guest feel the need to become aggressive or use foul, or abusive language to the HS crew please be aware we will not hesitate to contact the Police.
